Heiko Fischer [*1967 in aachen, germany] and Torsten Lohrmann [*1967 in london, UK] met as students at the "institute for theater-, film- and tv-science" at university of cologne in germany.

since 1989 they have produced various art- and documentary videos.
in 1992 Lohrmann & Fischer have started their cooperation and since then have realized several theoretical and practical media-projects.

their videos were frequently presented at various european independent film- and video-festivals. their documentary about permanent campers was honored in 1999 with the award of landesfilmdienst rheinland pfalz.
Torsten Lohrmann has started working as tv-designer for german tv station VOX in 1995. in 1997 he became art-director of this successul station that since 2000 belongs to RTL group. since then he is the head of the graphics department and responsible for the stations on-air-look.
in 2003 he became senior art director of vox. his department meanwhile produces 99% of the motion-graphics for VOX in-house.
since 1999 he has realized the "VOX break bumper world campaign" with shoots all over the world.
besides his employment at VOX he has been working as a freelancing designer & director for some challenging projects.
Heiko Fischer gathered production experience at the "harald-schmidt-show", invented by successful cologne-based production company brainpool.
in 1996 he started to work as a free-lancing producer for german tv stations and film productions.
since 2001 he manages the "VOX break bumper world campaign" and has also assisted most of the other complex design-shoots that Torsten realized as a freelance production manager and personal consultant to the director.
since 2008 heiko teaches as a lecturer in media sciences at cologne university of applied sciences.
the congenial relation between the “creative" and the "reasonable" often is the key to their reinventing and all-too-true results of many of their projects.
